As a barista you will be required to interact with customers in a communicative, pleasant, and helpful manner, answering menu questions, offering suggestions, and employing exceptional salesmanship to both maximize revenue and ensure guest satisfaction. As a server’s assistant you will be assigned to one or more servers to handle all aspect of table service in concert with your supervising server.

You will have the support of a bar back on Friday evenings and busier weekend shifts. All glassware is washed by hand by you and/or your bar-back. You will be making drinks for both your own bar customers and the table service guests. You must be able to provide courteous and informed food service while managing a high-volume ticket-load. This position is tipped directly by bar customers and tipped-out by servers. Bartender will provide discretionary tip-out to bar-back.

You will maintain clean and sanitary water, properly administer sanitabs, and keep up with the constant flow of dishwashing needs. You must be able to carry loads up to 75lbs from the patio, up steps, and into the dish area without breakage. You will also be involved in the end-of-shift kitchen cleaning and mopping of a very small kitchen.
