

RSVP: Mother Mae Hawk at Grey Hawk Festival
The day before Mother’s Day – on May 10, 2025 – join us for a brand-new family-friendly event celebrating the start of the season and the values of community, kindness, and compassion. There is NO cost to attend this event. Here’s what to expect!
The event will feature two live storytime-style readings of a new children’s story by the Grey Hawk team, “The Legend of Mother Mae Hawk.” (1:00pm and 4:30pm)
We’ll unveil a newly constructed giant rustic wooden bird statue, which guests will be invited to decorate with flowers, foliage, streamers, vines, and more over the course of the day.
Live music from three local music groups: Life Like Water duo (10am-1pm), Mutha Earth (1:00-4:30pm), and Highway 52 Trio (4:30-7:30pm).
Belly dancing and burlesque-style entertainment (family-friendly!) from The Scarab Sisters (sets at 2:30pm and 7:30pm).
Free crafts that are fun for the whole family, including make-your-own fairy crowns and woodsie wands
Art and craft vendors, featuring items like succulents, jewelry, pottery, soaps, and more!
Festival-style food, including delicious sandwiches, S’mores kits, and more!
Delicious craft cocktails, beer, wine, mocktails, sodas, and juices
Lawn games, board games, and plenty of space for kids to play
