RSVP: Mother Mae Hawk at Grey Hawk Festival
The day before Mother’s Day – on May 9, 2026 – join us for a brand-new family-friendly event celebrating the return of the warm season and the values of community, kindness, and compassion. There is NO cost to attend this event. Here’s what to expect!
The event will feature a live storytime-style readings of Grey Hawk’s Children’s Book, “The Legend of Mother Mae Hawk.”
We’ll unveil a newly constructed giant rustic wooden bird statue, which guests will be invited to decorate with flowers, foliage, streamers, vines, and more over the course of the day.
Live music from three local music groups: Sideways Sunday (10am-1pm), Owen Walsh (1:30-4:30pm), and Dale Brittain & Randy Saxon (5:30-8:30pm).
Free crafts that are fun for the whole family.
Art and craft vendors, featuring items like succulents, jewelry, pottery, soaps, and more!
Delicious festival-style food.
Beautiful , themedcraft cocktails, beer, wine, mocktails, sodas, and juices
Lawn games, board games, and plenty of space for kids to play
