Participate in Our Charcuterie-Building Competition!
The weekend of October 18, Grey Hawk Bar & Gardens is hosting the first annual Grey Hawk Food & Wine Festival, a celebration of gourmet food, delicious wine, and community! There will be wine tasting tents, competitions, a unique food & bar menu, live music all day, and more!
On Sunday, October 19, one of the centerpieces of the festival is our Charcuterie Competition – and we’re looking for participants ages 16 and older for this FREE contest! Please sign up by filling out the form on this page.
Ever dreamed of being on a cooking show? Well…. this is not quite that – but it will be very fun!
You’ll have ONE HOUR to build a charcuterie art display, based on materials that Grey Hawk provides for you. You can bring two personal items from home to enhance your display – one edible and one decorative – but you’ll use the same board and base ingredients as all other participants to make something amazing.
Bring your own knife, apron and other tools you may need to shape, sculpt, slice, spiral-ize, and more from cheese, meat, veggies, fruit, etc.
At the end of Sunday’s festival, we’ll award prizes in a few categories: Best in Show, Best Sense of Humor, and Best Effort!
There is no cost to participate but space is limited and a cancellation fee will apply for no-shows – sign up today!
Arrive by 11:30am, the one-hour competition begins promptly at 12pm, and judging and audience votes will be revealed at 4:00 to close out the festival.
