Participate in Our Food Art & Sculpture Contest!
The weekend of October 18, Grey Hawk Bar & Gardens is hosting the first annual Grey Hawk Food & Wine Festival, a celebration of gourmet food, delicious wine, and community! There will be wine tasting tents, competitions, a unique food & bar menu, live music all day, and more!
On Saturday, October 18 one of the centerpieces of the festival is our Food Art & Sculpture Contest – and we’re looking for participants for this FREE contest! Please sign up by filling out the form on this page.
Participants will produce a work of art out of food at their own homes, and bring it to Grey Hawk on Saturday morning, for viewing and judging throughout the day!
With the exception of your internal structural integrity, all items must be edible – but otherwise, the sky’s the limit! Your piece could be a landscape, a diorama, a replica of the statue of David or Starry Night, a pop-art piece, or anything that you can imagine!
Completed designs must be delivered and displayed outdoors by 10:30am on Saturday, October 18 – they’ll be out all day in ambient October temperatures (so maybe don’t make an ice cream palace) and festival-goers will vote throughout the day on your creations.
At 7pm we’ll have a live judging and tally the audience votes – Best in Show, Best Sense of Humor, and Best Effort.
This is an all-ages competition. You’ll have a table surface of 24 inches by 24 inches. There is no height restriction.
