Kitchen Assistant & Prep
Full-Time Seasonal, 30-45 hrs per week
You will be working long hours at times and responsible for a wide variety of kitchen duties and products. Working under the year-round kitchen Lead and the seasonal kitchen lead, you will be an integral part of the preparation and execution of the various menus we offer. We are looking for a skilled, versatile, quick learner who can wear many hats with ease and positivity. We do not have a hood, fryer, or conventional oven. We use creative and clean methods of preparing and heating foods with a variety of quality high-tech equipment. This position is for someone who can move fast, think fast, and create consistently prepared perfectly presented culinary delights in a team atmosphere.
30-45 hours as Kitchen Assistant
Mondays: Breakfast deli runner and prep 9:00am-1:30pm
Fridays: happy hour menu and heavy prep 11:00am-3:30pm
Saturdays: Kitchen 8:00am–11:30pm/close
Sundays: 7:00am-5:00pm/close
Qualifications:
Active ServSafe certificate a plus
2 years of experience in restaurant or commercial household kitchens
Speed, focus, endurance
Willingness to learn and ability to retain product knowledge and job-related techniques and skills
Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs
Ability to stand, crouch, kneel and bend for long shifts
Ability to clean, deep clean and mop
